One of the leading global asset management firms is seeking a KYC Analyst I to join their legal department. Your role will serve as a critical member of the organization, supporting the firms KYC process in their Chicago office.
The KYC Analyst I will be responsible for:
- Examining trading counterparties and banks requests for AML, KYC, and onboarding
- Acquiring and monitoring OCR and LEI trading codes
- Identifying and escalating any risks associated with shared information
- Carrying on and monitoring KYC requests and strengthening the tracking system
- Sustaining relationships with trading counterparties and banks
The KYC Analyst I should have the following qualifications: ​
- Bachelor's degree is required
- 2-4 years of related Know Your Customer, Anti Money Laundering, Sanctions Alerts, Transaction Monitoring, Suspicious Activity Reports, Customer Due Diligence, Enhanced Due Diligence, and Politically Exposed Persons experience
- Prior experience handling onboarding is a bonus
- Prior experience with financial services, trading documentation, or corporate transactional work is preferred
