Immigration Attorney (Multiple Locations)
Salary: 85K/yr - 100K/yr
Summary: A fast-growing and prestigious law firm is seeking a highly motivated and qualified attorney for various offices (Manassas, VA; Silver Spring, MD; Langley Park, MD; Baltimore, MD). The ideal candidate will have immigration experience who desire to become practitioners in the immigration field. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment with a team of experienced attorneys.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage client relationships, including meeting potential clients and coordinating case strategies
- Oversee multiple cases, supervise staff, and manage projects and deadlines
- Prepare and revise court documents, conduct legal research, and draft motions, briefs, and memoranda
- Handle court hearings and trials while staying updated on legislative changes and case law
- Market the firm's services, including cross-selling various practice areas and working occasional Saturdays
- Develop expertise in immigration law, including Family Petitions, Asylum, Individual Hearings, SIJIS, U-Visas, and Waivers
Key Qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA Accredited Law School (required)
- Active Bar License in good standing from the state you reside (required)
- Authorized to work in the US
- Fluent in Spanish (required)
- Immigration experience (1 year or more)
