Our Client is a Global bank with a strong precense within the APAC region, looking for a Head of Legal to join their team, they want someone with experience as below:
Responsibilities:
- Provide transactions legal support to various products such as corporate lending, real estate finance, trade commodity finance, structured finance, receivables finance, syndicated finance
- Work closely with the legal team and the head office legal team to ensure consistent best practices at work
- Manage litigation and investigation involving to the HK Branch
- Follow market developments to ensure headwinds are tracked and escalated to the General Counsel, Asia Pacific
- Review, draft and negotiate agreements and work closely with the relevant business team
- Provide legal and regulatory support and liaise with internal stakeholders in ensuring compliance and internal policies of the bank at all levels.
Requirements:
- Minimum 15 years relevant experience in the financial services
- Common Law Qualified to practice law in Hong Kong
- Good command in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
- Strong business acumen and good interpersonal skills
- Strong sense of responsibility, detail-oriented, self-motivated and well-organized
