A public, biotechnology company is seeking a Head of Compensation to join their Human Resources and People team as they grow from a private to a newly public company. This position will report to the Head of People and will work with the board and C-Suite on determining the firm's vision for compensation and total rewards moving forward.
The ideal candidate will have experience navigating this transition and will be able to serve in a hands-on capacity leading a small team to ensure the firm's competitiveness in the market. Additionally, the role will be ideally seated in the Bay Area with remote work a possibility for the right candidate. Previous experience in pharmaceuticals or life sciences is not required but is a plus.
Requirements:
- 10+ Years leading a compensation team for a public company
- Experience building a compensation plan and leading a team to execute a vision
- Familiarity working with C-Suite individuals and working with the recruitment and HR teams
- A Finance/Accounting background or work in data analytics is preferred
