A global asset manager in the Boston area is looking to hire a Head of Asset Management Compliance. The role will report to the Global Chief Compliance Officer and oversee a team that handles Code of Ethics, regulatory reporting, testing, financial crimes, bank compliance, and risk management. The Head of Asset Management Compliance will be responsible for reviewing policies, creating reporting for senior management, and overseeing a broad range of corporate compliance programs including but not limited to regulatory reporting, Code of Ethics, lobbying, anti-corruption, and sanctions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee the implementation of enterprise-wide compliance and risk policies, standards, and practices
- Prepare reporting for senior management including the production of metrics and KPIs
- Take part in the due diligence process for new acquisitions or changes in the organization, from a compliance perspective
- Provide guidance on regulatory matters
- Liaise directly with regulators on any regulatory matters
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required; Juris Doctor preferred
- 10+ years of compliance experience in the asset management industry
- Strong knowledge of asset management regulations
- Experience managing a team
