You will play a pivotal role in managing complex environmental law cases, advising clients on environmental compliance, regulatory matters, and sustainability initiatives. Environmental Law Partner Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage environmental law cases through all stages of litigation and regulatory compliance.
- Provide expert legal guidance to clients on environmental regulations, compliance, and sustainability initiatives.
- Advise on a broad range of environmental matters including air, water, waste, land use, and energy issues.
- Draft legal documents, including memoranda, pleadings, and settlement agreements.
- Represent clients in negotiations, hearings, and administrative proceedings.
- Stay up to date with evolving environmental laws, regulations, and policies to ensure clients remain compliant.
- Develop and maintain client relationships, providing strategic advice on environmental risk management.
- Mentor and manage junior associates and legal staff.
Environmental Law Partner Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in environmental law, with a strong background in litigation and regulatory matters.
- Proven track record of success in managing complex environmental cases and client relationships.
- Law firm experience required, with a focus on environmental law preferred.
- $500,000+ portable book of business.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
