Director of Strategy & Employment Law - International Tech Company
A international company is looking to expand their legal department! This attorney will work closely with the Chief Legal Officer based out of Chicago, Illinois, but is remote for the time being. The team is a group of open minded and collaborative individuals who are excited to help the company continue to grow and prosper in the 2022 fiscal year. As a Director of Strategy & Employment Law you will be able to join a motivated team and help shape the internal culture of a large international company.
You will be responsible for…
- Creating and maintaining consistency in the drafting and negotiating employment agreements, and related documentation
- Advising and counseling on daily issues as well as strategic L&E initiatives internally.
- Leading the people, culture, and management on all legal topics with regards to the employer/employee relationship, including: hiring, employment agreement reviews, leaves and accommodations, terminations, and rightsizing
You should have the following qualifications…
- Minimum of 7 years legal experience practicing International Employment Law
- Thorough experience working in international employment law
- Experience drafting and negotiating employment agreements both domestically and internationally
