Company Summary: A leading global medical device company is seeking an Associate Securities Counsel to join their legal team. The position has just been added due to the rapid growth and success of the company. Reporting to the Vice President and Associate General Counsel will give you the opportunity to make an immediate impact. Collaboration with various departments and advising on compliance with regulatory requirements and securities matters will be your top priority.
The Associate Securities Counsel will be responsible for:
- Ensure compliance with SEC and other regulatory and security-related requirements
- Prepare SEC filings such as 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K forms
- Assist in earnings reports and negotiate M&A transactions
- Provide legal support to board members, the finance department, and the stock administration team
The Associate Securities Counsel should have the following qualifications:
- 10+ years of corporate experience in the legal space advising public companies
- Biglaw experience preferred
- Earned a Juris Doctorate from a reputable law school and a license to practice
- Willingness to travel in the United States and occasionally internationally
- Previous work with Wdesk/Workiva preferred
