We are partnering with a global technology holding company that develops software and hardware products servicing various industries. They are looking to add a Corporate Counsel to their legal team that will play a lead role in drafting and negotiating various commercial contracts with enterprise customers as well as handling general corporate matters as needed. This is an extremely unique opportunity as you will have exposure to C-level individuals and have a direct impact on the trajectory of the business as a result. Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of corporate matters, including contracts, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, employment law, and regulatory compliance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various types of agreements, including SaaS agreements, vendor contracts, partnership agreements, and licensing agreements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure legal risks are identified and mitigated.
- Stay current with changes in laws and regulations affecting the technology industry and advise the company on potential impacts.
Requirements:
- Law degree from an accredited university
- Bar admission
- 2+ years of experience within the technology industry
- Experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, ideally software licensing agreements
- Ability to interact with key decision makers and communicate legal concepts in a simple manner
