A leading design software company is seeking a Corporate Counsel to join its legal team in New York City. This exciting, innovative tech firm has a global presence and has become the leading platform in its space with plans to only continually expand. This individual will have the ability to work alongside business teams in varying verticals, have responsibility for legal issues relating to corporate development, corporate governance, and international expansion efforts.
Responsibilities
- Review, negotiate, and a draft a range of commercial contracts and support corporate governance activities
- Serve as the lead attorney for international locations and collaborate efficiently and effectively with both legal and business teams
- Provide both practical and creative advice and counsel on legal and business requests
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working on commercial legal matters and IP licensing
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively
- Strong experience handling commercial drafting and negotiating
- JD and active bar membership
