A multinational renewable energy company is currently seeking a Compliance Manager to report directly to the Compliance Officer and collaborate closely with the global compliance teams in a hybrid position based in either Chicago, IL or Austin, TX. A successful person in this role will be proactive, a team player, innovative, and be highly skilled in understanding compliance management systems, governance structures, and risks.
The Compliance Manager will be responsible for:
- Building, designing, and implementing a compliance management system in the US, Mexico, and Latin America
- Expanding and administering compliance strategies
- Consulting with leadership and colleagues on compliance matters such as anti-money laundering, anti-corruption, and related issues
The Compliance Manager should have the following qualifications: ​
- Bachelor's degree is required. Masters preferred
- Experience in utilities or renewable energy is preferred
- Fluency in Spanish is preferred
- A minimum of at least 3 years experience working in corporate compliance
- Experience in legal sector is ideal
