A health supplement company is looking to add an enthusiastic Associate Counsel to their legal team. This opportunity will be focusing on strategically counseling the company on legal matters, including contracting. This position is vital in helping the legal team expand and will work collaboratively to weigh in on a variety of important matters across multiple departments that will help shape the company in the coming years. The Associate Counsel will be responsible for:
- Draft, negotiate and review contracts for a variety of different aspects of the business.
- Advise and participate in the completion of complex business transactions.
- Strategically counsel, identify and mitigate key business legal risks.
- Collaborate and assist other internal departments and outside counsel.
The Associate Counsel should have the following qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) and admission to any state bar.
- 3+ years of experience as an attorney.
- Candidates with in-house and/or law firm experience.
- Familiarity with Intellectual Property and/or Litigation experience welcome.
