We have partnered with a Tier One US Investment Bank in NYC. They are seeking an attorney with securities experience that will be responsible for advising the business on various interactions with institutional clients. This can range from securities lending to helping the business with developing blockchain and emerging technology products for the firm.
Responsibilities:
- Advising the firm on the development of new products and emerging financial technologies, such as distributed ledger and blockchain
- Provide day-to-day support of Securities Services business and functional partners
- Negotiate and draft complex service agreements. Including but not limited to global custody, fund administration, and accounting, collateral management, and securities lending agreements, for institutional clients
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with a major law firm or equivalent in-house experience
- Background in SEC work/regulations is a plus
- Excellent business sense
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
