About the Opportunity
An established, globally backed industrial company is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel to support a large-scale, high-impact U.S. development project. This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of commercial strategy, regulatory compliance, and operational execution within a complex, highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic, commercially focused legal advice to business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders
- Support a broad range of legal matters including commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, environmental/permitting, and litigation oversight
- Advise on risk management, governance, and business-critical decisions
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements
- Partner closely with operations, leadership, and external stakeholders
- Coordinate with and manage outside counsel as needed
- Deliver practical, business-oriented solutions in a fast-moving environment
Qualifications
- 10+ years of legal experience (law firm and/or in-house)
- Background in industrial, energy, infrastructure, or natural resources sectors strongly preferred
- Experience with regulatory, environmental, or administrative law matters
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to advise senior stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently in a broad, generalist role
- Licensed to practice law in the U.S. (or eligible for admission in relevant jurisdiction)
