Labor and Employment Attorney
Our client, a respected law firm in Atlanta, is seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Attorney to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex employment matters and provide strategic counsel to a diverse client base.
Labor and Employment Attorney Responsibilities
- Represent clients in employment litigation, including discrimination, wage and hour, and wrongful termination cases.
- Advise on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Draft and review employment agreements, policies, and handbooks.
- Handle administrative proceedings before agencies such as the EEOC and DOL.
- Provide guidance on workplace investigations and risk management.
- Support clients in union negotiations and labor relations when applicable.
Labor and Employment Attorney Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active Georgia Bar license (or eligibility for admission).
- 3-6 years of labor and employment law experience.
- Strong litigation skills and familiarity with employment regulations.
- Excellent research, writing, and communication abilities.
