Fund Finance Associate
We've partnered exclusively with a leading AmLaw firm to recruit a Fund Finance Associate Attorney to join its high-performing finance and investment transactions team. This is a rare opportunity to work across the capital structure, representing both debt and equity investors, with exposure to a broad range of sophisticated deals in the private capital markets.
Fund Finance Assocaite Key Responsibilities
Represent banks, credit funds, and institutional lenders in:
Subscription credit facilities
NAV-based and hybrid facilities
Management fee lines, co-investment and GP support loans
Advise alternative investment vehicles on debt and equity investments
Counsel private equity investors in control and growth equity investments
Work with portfolio companies on:
Acquisition and divestiture transactions
Sell-side processes
Debt financing and recapitalizations
Draft and negotiate complex financing, investment, and transaction documents
Collaborate closely with clients and cross-functional deal teams to drive transactions to close
Fund Finance Associate Qualifications:
Experience: 2-6 years of fund finance, general finance, or private equity transactional experience from a leading law firm or in-house platform
Education: JD from a top-tier law school; strong academic record
Bar Admission: Active and in good standing (or eligible to waive in)
Skills: Commercially savvy, strong writing/drafting skills, responsive and detail-oriented
Style: Client-facing, collaborative, and thrives in a fast-paced environment
