Legal and Compliance Manager
The Role
Based in Hong Kong, this role sits within the Legal, Compliance and Public Affairs function and will play a key role in supporting both legal advisory and compliance oversight across the business.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders across Hong Kong, Singapore and China to ensure the business operates in line with regulatory requirements while supporting ongoing commercial initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing legal and compliance advisory across business, product and client-related matters
- Reviewing and drafting client documentation, contracts and product disclosures
- Supporting regulatory filings, licensing matters and ongoing compliance obligations
- Conducting compliance monitoring, internal reviews and quality assurance activities
- Advising on new business initiatives, including data privacy, AML and governance frameworks
- Supporting investigations, complaints handling and regulatory engagement where required
- Contributing to process improvements and enhancing internal controls

Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in legal and/or compliance within financial services
- Strong preference for candidates with a law degree; prior law firm experience is advantageous
- Experience reviewing contracts, documentation and advising on regulatory matters
- Exposure to wealth management, insurance, asset management or financial services platforms
- Familiarity with Hong Kong and/or Singapore regulatory frameworks
- Strong communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin preferred)
